Shipping Policy

1. Order Processing Time
All orders are processed and shipped within 2 to 3 business days (excluding weekends and Japanese national holidays) after receiving your order confirmation email. You will receive another notification when your order has shipped.

Please note that processing times may be longer during high-volume periods (e.g., New Year holidays).

2. International Shipping Rates & Carriers
Shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout based on the weight of the items and the destination.

We use the following carriers depending on the destination:

[USA Orders]
- Carrier: FedEx
- Service Type: Delivered Duty Paid (DDP)
- Benefit: Import duties and taxes are covered by us (or included in the shipping cost). You will not be asked to pay additional fees upon delivery.

[Orders to Other Countries]
- Carrier: EMS (Japan Post)
- Service Type: Delivered Duty Unpaid (DDU)
- Note: Delivery times vary by region. Please track your package via the provided tracking number.

3. Import Duties, Taxes, and Customs Fees
(Important for customers outside the USA)

- Import Duties (Destination Country):

For customers in the USA:
We ship DDP (Delivered Duty Paid). No additional customs fees will be charged to you upon receipt.

For customers in other countries (Canada, EU, UK, Asia, etc.):
Your order may be subject to import duties and taxes (including VAT), which are incurred once a shipment reaches your destination country. ROCK STEPPERS is not responsible for these charges if they are applied; they are your responsibility as the customer.
Please check with your local customs office for more information before purchasing.

4. Refusal of Delivery
If a package is returned to us because the customer refused to pay import duties/taxes, or due to an undeliverable address/long-term absence:

We will refund the order amount MINUS:
1. The shipping cost paid at checkout.
2. The return shipping cost charged by the carrier to send the item back to Japan.
3. A handling fee.

*If the cost of returning the item exceeds the value of the merchandise, the package may be abandoned, and no refund will be issued.

5. How do I check the status of my order?
When your order has shipped, you will receive an email notification from us which will include a tracking number you can use to check its status. Please allow 24 hours for the tracking information to become available.

6. Shipping Restrictions
- We currently do not ship to P.O. Boxes for FedEx shipments (USA). Please provide a physical address to ensure smooth delivery.
- We cannot change the delivery address once the order has been shipped.
